Red wine is well known for its rich tradition in Greece and Middle East. They were not only enjoyed at the dinner tables but also in the religious ceremonies. Red wine has played a key role in almost all of the religious ceremonies from Modern Chrisitianity to ancient Greeks.

Merlot is one of the finest vintages of red wine available, and also one of the most popular. The higher alcohol content of merlot makes it an especial favorite among restaurateurs with an affinity for gourmet fare. This wine wine will remind you od chocolate covered with cherries.
Origin of Red Wines:
European wines are usually named afte the regions they are grown. Wine created in certain parts of France will be labeled as a Bordeaux, although they will be made with the Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. These wines are typically richer in flavor, and are more desirable amongst wine collectors.
